Selecting a Unit

Can I come and view the facility and various storage spaces? Yes. Do I need an appointment? No, but you may want to call ahead so our Friendly Storage Counselors can ensure availability. Call 706-629-0808 to schedule an appointment.
What if, I need more or less space after I move in? No Problem. You can reserve a larger or smaller unit and transer your belongings at your convenience or add an additional unit at any time.
What must I bring with me when I rent a space? We will need your drivers' license and mailing address along with your first payment. You may use your own padlock or purchase a Security Lock in our office.
When can I access my unit? We offer ANYTIME ACCESS. You'll select an unique gate code upon move-in so you can come and go at your convenience.
What are your office hours? Our staff is on duty Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment to meet with our Friendly Storage Counselor. 706-629-0808
Does anyone else have access to my unit? No, only you know your gate pin code - and only you have a key to your lock.
How does the access-gate system work? Simply drive-up to the pin pad and enter your unique code. The gate will open automatically. To exit, simply pull up to the gate and stop. This will cause the gate to open as well.
Are there any items that I can’t store? You alone control access to your storage space. Items you should never store include but are not limited to live animals, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammables, paint and cleaners. Remember to always drain fuel from gasoline engines before storing. Throw away anything that could possibly cause fire and do not store food or any item, which could attract rodents or pests.
Does your facility accommodate large moving trucks and tractor-trailers? Yes. Please let us know when to expect your movers. If you like, we will gladly allow them into the gate and point our your unit so they can beging unloading your belongings.
Do you sell padlocks for my unit? Yes. We sell high-quality Chateau Laminated Locks.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare my unit before I move my belongings into it? Your unit will be clean and ready upon move-in. If you have any special requests, please speak to our staff in advance.
How should I pack my storage unit to make it easy to get to my items? There are some simple strategies that can really help – like putting the things you’ll want to get to easily in the front of the unit. It also helps to label boxes clearly and place them so the label shows and always leave a clear walkway in the center so you can get to all parts of your unit.
How big are the doors to the units? Most units have 9'x7' roll up doors. 5'x10' and 5'x15' units have 4'x7' roll up doors.
How do I rent a unit? Simply go to "RESERVE A UNIT" and select the size and location of the unit you need. Our friendly Storage Counselors will call or email you during office hours to confirm availability and set up your move-in time. We can take care of the paperwork and payment over the fax/phone or you can do this when you arrive at the office.
Is there a minimum or maximum length of time I can store things? Your rental agreement is on a month-to-month basis. Ask a staff member about additional discounts for longer term payments.
Do I pay rent for my unit from the beginning of the month? Rent is due on the 1st of each month and considered late if not paid by the 10th. We will pro-rate your rent upon move-in, not upon move-out.
Is there a security deposit? We do not charge a security deposit at any of our facilities.
How much do I have to pay initially? Upon move-in, you will pay the pro-rated rent for the current month, and if after the 15th, include the following month's rent as well.
What about insurance? Most homeowner's insurance will cover items in a storage facility for a specified time. Check with your insurance agent for details.
Do you accept credit cards? Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit Cards, American Express, and Discover.
Will I receive a monthly invoice? We do not send invoices. Our clients simply pay monthly the way they would for an apartment.
When do you apply a late charge? Late charges are applied if payments are not made by the tenth of each month.
